Home business, blogging, scrapbooking, reading, or just relaxing in peace.
If you're doing what needs to be done as a mother, it's often challenging to find time to do things you enjoy. I love to write and if I don't wake early to do it, I'm trying to fit it in somewhere between cooking, homeschooling, laundry, running errands, and meeting the needs of hubby. I even check my email between tasks.
There is no such thing as sitting down doing something I enjoy (for an hour) without being disturbed. Even with a teen and tween, when I sit down at the computer, they all of a sudden want to talk. What's is this about? Are they trying to make me feel guilty? I think children just hate to see mama doing anything that doesn't concern them.
Hmmm...if mothers have a difficult time finding free time to do things we enjoy, maybe we shouldn't be doing these things at all. If your baby or toddler is crying and tugging at your skirt while you're at the computer, it's time to get up! If you jump up from the computer or quickly end a phone conversation when hubby comes in the door, maybe you were supposed to be doing something else anyway.
Actually, it's all about time management. We all have 24 hours in the day and it's how we use those hours that will free up a little extra time for our own interest.
Speaking of free time, this post is my 600th post! I obviously found some time somewhere to blog 600 times! To celebrate this occasion, I'm giving away a prize. The winner will have the choice of the newly released "We Snap in Silence" or a $20 gift card from your choice of Walmart or Target.

Well, I'm already following, and I'm terrified of twitter, but I will tell you how I find time to blog. Usually it happens at night, when I'm supposed to be sleeping! If I won the lottery, and the lottery fairy came down and told me I could either have the million bucks or have 6 extra hours added to my day, I'm pretty sure I know which one I'd pick!
Congrats on your 600th post!!
I already have you on my blogroll & follow you on Twitter. It's funny that you should make this post because I have not blogged in five days. Pretty unusual for me. But I have been very "productive" as you explained to me on my blog. I loved that by the way!
Maybe I'll get a post out today...
I follow your blog. I found your blog through Believer and I've been a fan ever since.
I posted a tweet about your blog here:

I usually take photos of things I want to blog about later. I'm able to do most of it through my phone so, that frees me up to be mobile while doing other things throughout the day.
I also follow you on twitter.
I follow you on here and you are on my blogroll!
Well, I definitely follow!! And you are definitely in my blog roll. :) And here's my comment about how I find time to blog: I do quickly, most of the time without a plan, it just is what it is! It's usually in the morning after kids have gone to school, and I have my coffee and Little Man has his PBS! Congrats on 600 posts!
Congrats! This is truly an accomplishment :-)!
Congrats on 600! Blessings on your blog as you cyber-sail through blog world! May the Lord make His face shine upon you...
Congratulations! What a feat! ~BlogMoms unite~ I started blogging to shine more Christ on the internet than "the other stuff" that's out here. In the blogosphere, most blogs are just free-flowing thoughts, so I thought it would be wonderful to share my heart's deepest biblical convictions. I find time to blog at all kinds of times during the day. Sometimes early mornings, sometimes after homeschool, sometimes late evenings. I now enjoy having a purposeful journey because I don't have to think of what to write about - it definitely gives great focus.
May the Lord continue to bless your blogging journey and the light that is shining from within you through your words!
Okay, let me get this straight. Never mind. I'll come back tomorrow and print it out, then I'll get it right. I'm already following and you're already on my blog roll. I'll get to the others tomorrow.
Nice post.
Just found your blog and love it! I am ashamed to admit it, but I find time to blog by staying up WAY too late and eating chocolate to help me stay awake... I'm adding you to my blogroll and I'm not a follower! :)
Okay, I am NOW a follower. Not sure why my post said I was NOT, but I'm in there, gal! :)
